A dynamic group of
professionals comprise Florida Institute of Technology’s
Office for Advancement. The office, which includes alumni affairs,
development, university communications, university publications
and WFIT radio, serves as the main conduit between the University
and the outside world. By combining high technology and a human
touch, the office networks with alumni, friends and the general
public.
Alumni affairs creates programs for and shares information
with more than 35,000 alumni spread around the globe. Florida
Tech’s
Office of Development is the university’s fundraising
arm, working with foundations, corporations and individuals
to build
a successful university while meeting donors’ needs.
University communications conducts the university’s communications
and marketing efforts, heightening local and national recognition
of Florida Tech’s outstanding record. The university
publications office produces a full range of marketing materials
including brochures, catalogs,
magazines and newsletters each year, while maintaining the
integrity of the university’s Web site and graphic identity.
WFIT radio, the university’s public radio station, serves
more than 100,000 listeners in Brevard and Indian River counties.
