- Peter Herrman, BS/OE '86: One of the highlights of my time at FIT was being on the Polo Club. Our faculty sponsor, Father Doug Bailey, was very supportive and attended all our matches and meetings. It was a great way to blow off some stress and bond with our friends. I'll never forget when we actually got invited to play at the International Polo Club in Palm Beach and Bryan Pommer fell off his pony in the third chukka! Thankfully, Max Rodgers scored one goal for us so it wasn't a complete embarrassment.
 Dr. R.S. Jin
- David Myers, BS 81: JPL Senior Engineer, Guidance, Navigation & Control Section. The faculty person I will make reference to is the Space Science and Physics professor (1977-1981, when I was a student) Dr. R.S Jin. He taught me such varied classes as Statistical Thermodynamics, Orbital Mechanics, Planetary Astronomy and Solar Astronomy. He gave amazingly well thought-out lectures, was easily approachable after class and gave the right kind of exams to test the student on the course material. There were other professors in the Space Science and Physics department that did very well in their presentation, but if I were to chose one it would be Dr. Jin.
- Kim Bozik '87: My involvement in the Campus Activities Board was some of the best memories I'll ever have. A great team of visionary folks like (and I apologize if I miss a few of you) Terri Brinkman, Wes Coleman, Les Morton, Bob Hepler, Tom Spierto, Racquel Crowley, Fraser Demetree that felt we could really up the ante on campus life. We did in so many ways with campus events, Limelite entertainment in the Rathskellar and who could forget the Cyndi Lauper and Jimmy Buffett concerts?!! Thanks to Monica Rudzik and Barry Fullerton who were so supportive of our desires to make the campus a fun place to reside. Oh yeah, leading Orientation Staff my senior year didn't stink either. Another awesome team of folks! Go O-Team... but we never could beat the RA's in the softball game.
- Vinod Menon '86: Mr. Forsman of the Math Dept. at FIT helped me considerably towards my graduation. Professor Lee Harris at FIT Jensen Beach was encouraging to me and supportive. Please give him my best regards and best wishes. My buddy at FIT was Dave Balderas who was a student in the Computer Technology prgoram at FIT Jenson Beach during 1983-1986. He was from Illinois.
