Prospective Students

Coordinating the academic challenges of college with the demands of living away from home can be tough for any student. Disability Services in the Academic Support  Center , working with our faculty and staff, assists students in strategies for being successful when encountering the challenges of attending college.

The admission procedures for students with disabilities are the same as for all applicants. In order to obtain accommodations, the student who has been diagnosed with a disability must register with Disability Services at the Academic Support Center, complete the required request and accommodations forms, and provide current documentation. Since many accommodations require planning, early identification of a student’s needs ensures accommodations are made in a timely manner. The student must meet with Disability Services at the beginning of each semester to maintain accommodations and to verify that documentation is current.
