One of our favorite bits of advice to students is “Use your resources,” regardless of their academic standing or degree program. With all of the different resources that Florida Tech offers, it can be difficult to know where to start. We have a few suggestions that can put you on the right path.

Academic Workshops

We make our materials from our academic workshops available for students to download and use for reference. This list is updated every semester with new and revised materials that touch on topics like time management, note-taking, exam preparation, and academic recovery. Check out our current list of workshops here.

Our staff can also present these materials as an on-demand session for your class or student organization. Contact our associate director for more information at

eCurrent News from the ASC

We use the eCurrent, Florida Tech’s home for many department and student blogs, to post articles related to academic success. Check out some of our more popular posts for help in key undergraduate courses like Composition and Rhetoric (COM 1101) and General Chemistry 1 (CHM 1101), as well as general topics like time management and how to use review sessions to your advantage.

Find a Place to Study at the Evans Library

Our neighbors at the Evans Library have many spaces for students to work, either alone or in small groups. You can reserve a study room for up to two hours at a time and collaborate with friends on homework or exam review.

Important Dates and Deadlines

Stay up to date with the campus academic calendar so you never miss a date for registration, financial aid, or campus events. At the Campus Calendar, you can view many events posted by campus departments and community groups as well as deadlines related to registration and graduation.
