(Men’s Basketball) – Four Panthers notched double figures and Derek Hellemann posted his fifth double-double as Florida Tech (6-0) extended its unbeaten streak by defeating Florida Christian (4-6) 95-58 Tuesday night. Alvin Tucker was just shy of a double-double with an impressive 14 boards and nine points. M. Basketball \| December 1 Panthers Survive PBA Scare, 82-74 MELBOURNE, Fla. (Men’s Basketball) – It was a fast-paced game from the gate Monday night with 12 ties and 16 lead changes. Fortunately for Florida Tech, the Panthers came out on the winning end of a tough game against a good Palm Beach Atlantic team to remain undefeated (5-0). Despite the best efforts of the Sailfish (4-4), Tech pulled off the 82-74 win, led by Derek Hellemann’s 25 points.
