Devereux Florida has current openings for part-time and full-time Behavior Analysts in Deland, FL. The Behavior Analyst position will allow you to find purpose and give you room to grow in the largest not-for-profit provider of services to children and families in Florida. This position provides a "wrap" of services as we believe that the more services and care we provide to an individual, the better their outcome and success.

Job Responsibilities of Behavior Analyst:

  • Providing behavior analysis, programming, and case management to our foster care clients with intellectual, developmental disabilities and behavioral issues
  • Teach acquisition, communication, positive replacement behaviors, social and community integration skills
  • Provides a "wrap" of services as we believe that the more services and care we provide to an individual, the better their outcome and success
  • Work closely with clinical treatment team, parents, guardians, schools, medical professionals, and others to assist in coordination of services

Requirements of position:

  • Must be able to complete a two day new hire orientation class; hours are approximately 8:45 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day
  • Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, or related field
  • Certification as a BCaBA required
  • Experience working with children and families in foster care
  • Valid Florida Driver’s License
