Panther Access Card Terms and Conditions
The Florida Tech Panther ID Card is the property of Florida Institute of Technology. It is entrusted to each student while enrolled at the university. There is a replacement charge whenever a card is lost, stolen, or damaged. The Florida Tech Panther ID Card used for the University Alliance program has limited used on campus to the Library areas only.
In accordance with federal regulations, no cash withdrawals will be permitted under the Access Account Program.
The card holder understands that the Panther Access Account is not transferable.
Deposits of any amount may be added at any time. In most cases, deposits received will be available immediately. Foreign and/or out-of-state checks may be held until they clear the bank.
Card holder may, at any time, request a statement of transactions from the Campus Services Office. Statements will be available the following business day.
Merchandise will be accepted for return according to the refund policy in force where the goods or services are purchased. Cash refunds will not be made for returned merchandise. A credit will be made to the card holder's account within one working day of receipt of an approved request.
The card holder is responsible for observing the amount and account charged during each card transaction. The card holder is responsible for monitoring their own account balance(s). It is the card holder's responsibility to keep track of their purchases.
Returned checks are subject to all check collection procedures of the university - including, but not limited to, a fee of $20.
The card holder is responsible for immediately reporting a lost or stolen Florida Tech ID Card. Report of a lost or stolen card may be made in person or by calling Campus Services:
8am - 5pm, Monday-Friday
The terms of this agreement commence when the card holder utilizes his/her ID Card. This agreement expires upon graduation or formal withdrawal from the university. Any balance remaining in the account above $10 at the expiration of this agreement will be refunded upon written request to Campus Services. Refund checks will be mailed within 30 days of receipt of such request, and will be sent to the address provided at the time the refund is requested. Evidence of graduation or formal withdrawal from the university may be requested.
The Florida Tech Panther ID Card, and all forms, records, transcripts of use, are the property of Florida Tech. Use of the ID card may be revoked at any time.
The card holder agrees to abide by all rules, regulations, policies and procedures specified by Florida Tech and Campus Services. Violations of such rules, regulations, policies, and/or procedures may result in the cancellation of a card holder's account. Future changes in terms and conditions regulating use of this card will apply to all cards in circulation and use at that time, and will supercede the terms and conditions in effect at the time the card was acquired.
No funds will be deducted from your Access Account without your authorization.
