2014 American Graphic Design Awards

The American Graphic Design Awards is a five decade old national competition open to everyone in the graphic arts community — graphic design firms, advertising agencies, inhouse corporate and institutional designers, publishers and other media. It honors outstanding new work of all kinds in 23 categories from print and packaging to internet and interactive design. More than 8,000 entries were submitted this year—approximately 15 percent were recognized with a Certificate of Excellence.This award-winning piece was designed by Creative Services in conjunction with writing from the Marketing/Communications team to support the university's expansion into the Orlando market.

2013 –14 Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) District III Awards

The Council for Advancement and Support of Education is a professional association serving educational institutions and the advancement professionals who work on their behalf in alumni relations, communications, development, marketing and allied areas.

Special Merit Award for Florida Tech Today magazine in the University Magazines/Tabloids Improvement category

This category recognizes improvement from one year to the next. Judging criteria includes what changes were made and why. Staff size and budget will also be considered.

Special Merit Award for Kicking off Florida Tech Football in the Communications and Marketing–External Relations Engagement Program category

Print pieces produced by Creative Services were included in this divisionwide award

29th Annual Educational Advertising Awards

The Educational Advertising Awards is the largest educational advertising awards competition in the country. In 2013, nearly 2,000 entries were received from over 1,000 colleges, universities and secondary schools from all fifty states and several foreign countries. Judges for the Educational Advertising Awards consisted of a national panel of higher education marketers, advertising creative directors, marketing and advertising professionals and the editorial board of Higher Education Marketing Report.

28th Annual Educational Advertising Awards

In 2012 entries were received from more than 1,100 colleges, universities, and secondary schools from all 50 states and several foreign countries. Florida Tech was lauded alongside institutions like Purdue, Johns Hopkins, Tulane, Rochester Institute of Technology, and Boston College.

In an effort to promote education in STEM-related disciplines (science, technology, engineering and mathematics), Florida Tech developed the Power of Math poster for high school guidance counselors and science and math teachers. This poster served as a teaching tool, public service message and recruiting mechanism.
