E-mail Signature Image
OUTLOOK INSTRUCTIONS:
STEP 1
To download the image below, right-click (control-click) the logo and save it to your local hard drive.

If you are using Outlook for your e-mail, follow the setup instructions below:
STEP 2
To create a signature in Outlook
- From the Tools menu, select Options. The Options dialog will appear.
- Click the Mail Format tab.
- Click the Signatures button at the bottom of the dialog.
- In the Create Signature dialog, click the New button.
- Type a name for your new signature.
- Click the Next > button.
- Right-click in the Signature text box.
- Select Insert Image from the pop-up menu.
- In the Picture dialog, click the Browse button.
- In the Picture files dialog, navigate to the image file you would like to use.
- Highlight the image file and click Open.
- In the Picture dialog, click the OK button. Your image will appear.
- Add any other text as needed.
- Click the Finish button.
- Click the OK button.
Your signature is created and you should be back at the Options dialog. If you look in the signatures section, you'll see Outlook has assigned your new signature to new messages. This means each time you create an e-mail, this signature will appear at the bottom of the e-mail.
OUTLOOK EXPRESS INSTRUCTIONS:
STEP 1
To download the sample signature below, right-click (control-click) the link below, choose "Save Target As" and save the .html file to your local hard drive.

STEP 2
- Open the signature.html file in Notepad
- Note: If you open the file in MS Word, the file will not work correctly
- Change the information below to display the information you would like in your signature
- Change any item:
Name
Title
Department
Florida Institute of Technology
Phone
Fax
Web Site - Then go to File > Save
Note: Save the file somewhere on your hard drive where it will stay permanently. If the file is moved, the signature will no longer work.
STEP 3
To create a signature in Outlook Express
- Open Outlook Express
- Go to Tools > Options
- In the Options menu, choose Signatures
- Click New
- In the Edit Signature section, choose File
- Click Browse
- In the Open dialog, navigate to the signature.html file you just edited.
- Highlight the file and click Open
- Under Signature settings, click "Add signatures to all outgoing messages"
- Click OK
- Click Create Mail to verify the signature shows.
