Faculty Summer Institute
The Center for Teaching & Learning Excellence (CTLE) is pleased to announce Florida Tech's 3rd annual Faculty Summer Institute (FSI'05) participants.
The objective of the Institute is to emphasize the importance of the teacher-student relationship and assist faculty in the development of individual projects having high implementation potential and significant educational impact.
Participants in FSI receive a stipend to participate in short, collaborative work sessions with CTLE staff and other faculty to develop their projects. Interested faculty should contact an FSI alumnus or a CTLE co-director. The nomination process requires submitting a brief proposal in addition to endorsement by a department chair or dean, demonstrated evidence of teaching proficiency, commitment to teaching excellence, and willingness to contribute to a team.
