Marine and Environmental Systems
Welcome.... I am an Assistent Professor of Meteorology in the Department of Marine and Environmental Systems (DMES). I work primarily in the area of tropical climate variability using observations (satellite and reanalysis), high-resolution models (WRF and MM5), GCMs (ECHAM4) and theory. See on the right hand side for my other research interests.
If you are a prospective graduate student (MS or PhD) or looking for a postdoc position feel free to contact me.
Ph.D. (Meteorology and Physical Oceanography), RSMAS, U of Miami, Miami, FL, 2008 Thesis: The initiation of the Madden-Julian Oscillation (MJO)
