Professional Experience
Director, Center for Psychological Trauma StudiesDr. Elmore joined the faculty of the School of Psychology in 1982 after serving as a Staff Psychologist within three University Counseling Centers. Previous positions within the School of Psychology at Florida Tech include Director, Center for Student Development; Director, Counseling Psychology Program; Chair, Personnel Psychology Program. Currently, he serves on the Clinical and I/O Faculty.
Dr. Elmore also teaches a number of seminars and classes that include clinical skills and techniques, consulting psychology, sex therapy and clinical hypnosis. He supervises clinical students in practicum and research projects. His practice specialty is marital and sex therapy.
