FL Tech Time Payment Plans enable you to spread out your payments for tuition and fees.  We are using a new online payment application for Academic Year 2009-2010 and that has led to some changes from the 2008-2009 payment plans. The Touchnet Student Account Center (SAC) will enable students to authorize a parent or other person to access their account information and make payments for them. Enrollment will begin in July 2009. Meanwhile you can find more information about the plans for Fall 2009 and Spring 2010 by clicking on Panther Payment Plan. You may also want to check out other information on the new Student Financial Services website, which includes a Panther Payment Plan hyperlink in the left navigation panel.

New and returning Students with Federal loans must make important decisions about their loans and advise the Financial Aid Office (FAO):

Stafford Loans never appear on your student account until after you accept the loan, select your choice of lender and complete a Master Promissory Note (MPN).  You will also need to complete an Entrance Interview before the loan will be paid into your FL Tech student account.  More information about this process for new and returning students is availalbe on our web site -- see Stafford Loans.

If you notified our office directly which of the lenders on our list you selected -- and if we have submitted your electronic loan application to Sallie Mae -- you can complete your remaining requirements online by clicking on the following llinks:

--   Stafford Master Promissory Note

--   Entrance Interview -- Stafford

--   Entrance Interview -- Grad PLUS

If you select a lender that is not on our lender list, that lender will tell you how to sign their Promissory Note, but you will still need to satisfy your FL Tech Entrance Interview requirement.  You may do so by clicking on the appropriate Entrance Interview hyperlink above and logging in at the USA Funds sponsored interview website.

Petitioning Graduates with Federal Stafford loans and/or Graduate PLUS loans must complete Exit Counseling for each loan type they have used.  You may complete the counseling online by clicking on Stafford Exit Counseling and/or Graduate PLUS Exit Counseling to login to the applicable USA Funds sponsored website.  Graduate PLUS Exit Counseling is a new Federal loan requirement effective in 2008 and is independent of the requirement to complete Stafford Exit Counseling.  If you have difficulty logging in to either of the above websites, call their toll free customer support number (866) 848-9315 that appears at the bottom of the opening page.

Spring Graduates with Federal Perkins Loan must also complete a separate Exit Counseling for that loan. The Perkins Exit Records for Spring graduates were created on April 22, 2009, enabling you to complete your Exit Interview online at your convenience. Please use FL Tech School Code U7 for Perkins Loan Exit Counseling. Live Customer Service is available online to assist you.
