Federal Stafford Loan - Entrance
Counseling: All new students who are receiving
their first Stafford Loan, and all transfer students who
are receiving their first Stafford Loan as a Florida Tech
student, are required by federal regulations to complete
Entrance Counseling at Florida Tech. The Entrance
Counseling requirement must be completed before the Stafford
Loan can be disbursed into your student account. For
new students, the requirement is normally satisfied during
Freshman Orientation. Students may also stop by the
Financial Aid Office to complete the Entrance Counseling
form or they may complete the requirement at our federal
loan guarantor's Web site:

Federal Stafford Loan - Exit Counseling: Students
with Stafford Loans who graduate, or leave Florida Tech for
other reasons, are also required by federal regulations to
complete
Exit Counseling. Students may stop by the Financial
Aid Office to complete the Exit Counseling form or they may
complete the requirement at our federal loan guarantor's
Web site:

Federal Perkins Loan - Exit Counseling: Students
with Perkins Loans who graduate, or leave Florida Tech for
other reasons, are similarly required to complete a separate Exit Interview. These students may receive a letter or email from Educational Computer Systems, Inc. (ECSI) with these instructions for completing the Exit Interview from the ecsi.net Borrower page:

- Click the Exit Interview Button to begin
