For those earning under $20,000 per
year, the fees for group therapy
sessions will be waived for the first 10 sessions. There
after, a
subsidized fee can be arranged based on a sliding scale of your

clients. For those in need, FLP is willing to accommodate with
special arrangements. Just Ask. Our office will be happy to
assist
you in applying for victim's compensation.
Eligibility
Families who have
suffered the trauma of sexual abuse within the family. Complete
services are provided for all members affected by incest, including
both spouses, other relatives, and victims of the a buse.
What are the Guidelines? 1. All of the family
will be in treatment 2. Treatment will be comprehensive 3.
Participants cannot abuse drugs and/or alcohol 4. Each
participant will pay for services. Clients are assisted with
applying for victim's compensation or insurance 5. Offenders are
subject to additional guidelines to ensure the safety of children
and to comply with court mandates.
Before admitting anyone
to the groups, our procedure for all applicants is to assess through
interview and use of psychological measures (taking three-four
hours) whether or not our program would be relevant a nd helpful.
We develop a full treatment plan including referral to other
community resources. We also feel that since group therapy is so
powerful for this specialized area, that it should be considered
first as treatment of choice. Individual therapy may be recommended
as needed or if already a person is in individual therapy we
encourage them to continue with their therapist in addition to
participating in group. In this case, we would work closely with
other agencies and private practitioners to meet t he client's
needs.
