The Global Center for Preparedness and Resilience (GCPR) is a premier national institution based at Florida Institute of Technology organized to integrate the preparation for and response to natural and man-made disasters, to globally promote sustainable and resilient communities including insfrastructure. The concept of "Global Resilience" addresses four inter-related elements to ensure the stability of our planet: Safety, Security, Sustainability, and Health

The Global Center for Preparedness and Resilience also serves as a interdisciplinary respository think tank for the best professional practices in professional, and as an incubator for innovative technologies and technology transfer, along with certification in preparedness and resilient solutions

The Global Center for Preparedness and Resilience works with both national and international private sector businesses, public sector government partners, non-profits and academia in a collaborative and integrated manner to promote disaster resilience and reduction of vulnerabilities

The Global Center for Preparedness and Resilience is results oriented and provides solutions through training, certification, adacemic instruction, professional development and continuing education, consulting services, performance assessment, quality assurance, modeling/simulation and research both nationally and internationally



The GCPR hosts a series of Annual Global Leadership Forums held in Washington DC and the Conference on Global Preparedness and Resilience presented in Florida
