Network+ Certification Review and Preparation Course
Florida Institute of
Technology, in partnership with BEMA Services, is offering a five-day training program for those who desire Network+ certification.
Information Technology (IT) security professionals from industry and government will be your instructors who will guide you through the
objectives for the Computer Technology Industry Association’s CompTIA Network+ Certification. This certification has been recognized by
the Department of Defense (DOD) as a baseline qualification for duties at the Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level I.
Learning Objectives:
1. Successfully review and prepare for the CompTIA Network+ Exam
2. Identify all the major networking technologies, systems, and tools in use in modern computer networks
3. Learn best practices in deploying local area networks and wide area networks
4. Explore concepts in secure network communications and infrastructure design
5. Manage TCP/IP network confirgurations, tools and services
6. Identify remote network, disaster recovery, network attached storage and troubleshooting methods
Who Should Attend:
Security Administrators, Network Administrators, Network Security Analysts, Information Assurance Officers Level I & II, Information Assurance Managers Level I
Additional Information and Prerequisites:
This is a basic level program with no advanced preparation needed and provides up to 35 CPE credits.
- A minimum of 6 months experience in system administration
- Day to day Local Area Networking (LAN) and networking design experience
- Entry level experience and knowledge of LAN concepts and implementation
