OMNI Urgent Care
The off-campus Omni Urgent Care Center, located at 2501 West New Haven Avenue (directly across from the Olive Garden Restaurant on US-192, past the Melbourne Mall), is available for urgent health problems (if the Student Health Center is closed) and after hours help. Your student ID and insurance card will be required for treatment.
The OMNI Health Urgent Care Center's hours of operation are Monday - Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Please call ahead for availability: 321-723-9411.
If you need to be seen on a weekend or after hours, please see the attached list of local urgent cares. Call ahead to ensure they accept your health insurance and they are "In Network" to get the lowest price in your insurance network. Student Health Center Information
- Walk-in visits only, appointments are not required at the Student Health Center. We encourage the use of either the on-campus Student Health Center or an off-campus Acute Care Clinic such as OMNI or another on your health insurance plan, prior to going to the hospital emergency room.
- Hours of operation: 8 am to 8 pm, Monday - Thursday, 8 am to 5 pm Friday. Last patient sign in one half hour before closing, or earlier depending on patient load.
- Staff and faculty are welcome and can be seen according to your insurance requirements for PCP.
- If you feel you need to be seen immediately, please go to a local emergency room. If it is not an emergency and you need to be seen before the Health Center reopens, you may go to any local Urgent Care that accepts your insurance.
- A Florida Tech student ID card is required for a visit at the Student Health Center. Proof of insurance is requested.
