September 14, 2000

Present: Judi Marino, Carolyn Farrior, Kate Shelton, Judi Tintera, Jay Wilson, Donald Dement, Wade Shaw, Matt Wood, Adam Beard, Luis Hernández and Dee Dee Pannell, chair.

Minutes
Were read and approved.

Guidelines
The guidelines were submitted to Dr. Newman for forwarding to Dr. Sullivan for Vive President approval.

Old Business
There was a discussion about the purpose of this committee and whether there was a need to expand to a technical committee. In the web focus meeting this summer VPs Duncan and Sullivan indicated that issues from this advisory committee can be brought directly to them to take to the VP meetings.

Web Site Redesign
The current Florida Tech page was reviewed and the new design presented and reviewed by the committee. Broad input from the campus community will be solicited. There was also a discussion about customized pages, "enter my portal". The committee was asked to edit the site directory and bring changes to the next meeting.

New Business
Donald is building a list of who's responsible for web pages in each area.
