Major: Aerospace Engineering Favorite Multicultural Event: International food festival What do you like about Florida Tech? "I love the diverse range of people that you can meet and get to know, the international coffee hours and festival are a great opportunity to meet new people and learn about their cultures. The tight knit community of the school and Greek life have made me feel welcome and helped me to develop a new family away from home. I also really like that the ProTrack program has allowed me to do an internship in my degree field." |

Jian Wang Major: Psychology Hometown: Kunming, Yunnan Province, China Email: jwang2009@my.fit.edu Favorite Multicultural Event: International Coffee Hours "I like the Coffee Hours the most because they are rather organized and relatively quiet compared to other events. During each Coffee Hour, a specific culture (Indian culture, for example), is introduced and emphasized. Students who are interested in the specific culture have a chance to talk to natives about details." What do you like about Florida Tech? "The thing I like best about Florida Tech is that it has quite a low teacher-to-student ratio. Small classes make the teaching quality higher. Each student feels engaged and can get instant help from professors." |
