Florida Institute of Technology
High Tech with a Human Touch
Inaugurated in 2007, Florida Tech's International Festival is an annual celebration of cultural diversity hosted on our campus in Melbourne, Florida. International student organizations and other groups host country and diversity themed booths, and display a variety of traditional wares, including maps, clothes, literature and artifacts aimed at promoting cultural awareness. Performances such as dance and song fill the afternoon with live entertainment on Florida Tech's new "panthereum." Local restaurants and vendors sell a variety of ethnic food, and children's activities include face painting and carnival games.
Come out and join us, find out about other cultures and share our beautiful campus.
The Fourth Annual International Festival is being held on Saturday, February 27th, 2010,12 AM to 5 PM on the Florida Tech Campus.
If you are new to the International Festival and would like learn more, be sure to visit the International Festival Photo gallery, and look at the 2009 program.
