- Toni Francis, a Florida Tech senior and civil engineering major, has received a $3,600 Rotary Club scholarship from the Indialantic Rotary Club. The scholarship was presented by Dr. Thomas Gamble, president of Brevard Community College.
Currently living in Palm Bay, but from the Caribbean Island of Dominica, Francis is also a Link Scholar. She is funded to help in a scanning and digitizing project for the university’s Evans Library Edwin A. Link Special Collections.
She is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and the Multicultural Club. Her faculty advisor is College of Engineering Associate Professor Howell Heck.
