Renee Foosaner Education Center Offers Pressed Together Printmaking for Families June 28

06/13/2013

MELBOURNE, FLA.—Florida Institute of Technology’s Renee Foosaner Education Center will present Pressed Together: A Printmaking Experience for Families, Friday, June 28, from 6 to 8 p.m.

This event features a dual printmaking mini-workshop at the Foosaner Education Center, in conjunction with the current exhibition, Pressing Print. While parents enjoy a date night, their children can be immersed in a world of artistic fun. Parents will enjoy two hours of “me-time” while learning about the process of monotype printmaking. Children will also explore the exciting process of monotype printing, but separately from the adults. It’s a date-night dilemma solved.

The cost is $25 per parent or child; $10 each per additional adult or child.

Pre-registration is required. Visit foosanerartmuseum.org to register online, under “Events.” For information, call Sara Petrosky, curator of education, Foosaner Art Museum, at (321) 674-8915.

The Renee Foosaner Education Center is located at 1520 Highland Ave. in Melbourne’s Eau Gallie Arts District.
