Panther Pass...the fast track through orientation check-in!

Welcome and congratulations on your acceptance into Florida Tech! We are excited that you are beginning your journey towards your degree.  The process from acceptance to your first class is two fold: complete the check-in process and attend university orientation.  All students are required to complete the check-in process and attend University Orientation. Our research shows that students that participate in University Orientation are more successful at Florida Tech and more likely to complete their degree!

Check-In Begins Today-

Several things need to be completed in order for you to transition into the university.  Panther Pass is the key to completing all necessary processes.  You can complete all processes at your own pace; however please start early as many will take some time to complete.

The Panther Pass program is designed to take you step by step through the process of checking into the university.  Your goal should be to complete the entire process before January 1st .  Completion by January 1st will ensure that you are prepared for University Orientation on the 3rd-4th of January.

Orientation January 3rd-4th-

The final step to starting your journey is University Orientation.  Orientation will prepare you for your journey towards your degree in three ways.  First, you will receive all your information from the check-in process and we will verify you are ready to start your journey.  Second, you will transition into your department.  You will have the opportunity to learn about the important department processes and also meet your advisor.  Finally, you will meet other students who are beginning their journey and make connections.  More information about university orientation is available later in the Panther Pass process.
For now, mark your calendars and make arrangements to attend orientation on January 3rd-4th 2008.
