Bible Study
Held on Tuesdays at 5:00 p.m. in the Olin Engineering Building Conference Room 239, the PCM Bible Study is a Chaplain-led discussion about how ancient ideas presented in the Bible help our everyday lives today.
This academic year we have been looking through the course catalog. Have you ever wondered if your choice of a major may have also been a spiritual decision? Perhaps there is even a deeper reason why you have been led toward a particular field. Just what does the Bible have to say about engineering, business, the physical sciences, psychology, etc.? We choose a different major each week, examine its biblical implications, and consider its impact on the world. Though we encourage you to join us each week, please refer to the PCM Calendar page for a topical schedule, if you would like to invite specific friends.
This study is great for faculty, staff, and alumni as well! Perhaps you work in a particular department of interest or would like to know more about these fields around you. We welcome you!
If you're on another campus, out of the area, etc. but would like to contribute to the study or ask questions of the group, please email us at pcmrev@fit.edu, so we may include you in our topical Bible study discussion.
It will feel good to know you have embraced your particular field intellectually, emotionally, and spiritually by the time you graduate.
