Florida Institute of Technology in partnership with Florida MEP has developed a training program to place degreed individuals into advanced manufacturing jobs in Florida's High Tech Corridor. This program is funded by a U.S. Department of Labor grant and provides this training at no cost to the employer or trainee.
The primary goal of the grant is to recruit, train and place these degreed individuals into advanced manufacturing jobs.
TechPoint® virtual reality training is the tool that will create a workforce that has the specific skills to meet manufacturers' desperate need for skilled workers for their high-tech facilities.
Only the TechPoint® training program offers this kind of advanced simulation technology, as well as training in blueprint reading, Lean to Green, geometric dimension and precision measurement.
