What is a Biology Degree?
Whether you want to explore the mysteries of human evolution, study the complexities of living systems, or become a leader in public health advocacy, you can get there with a general biology degree from Florida Tech. Here, you'll develop a broad background in biology and enjoy more flexibility in the choice of courses, which means you can customize your program to fit your individual interests and goals.
Our general biology degree program is both dynamic and focused. You'll get started right away, taking core courses like Biological Discovery and General Chemistry as a freshman. Guided by highly qualified faculty who care about your success, you'll hone your strengths and begin specializing (or continue exploring) as a sophomore.
