What is a Communications degree for the Military?

The military science program prepares Florida Tech Army ROTC cadets to serve as commissioned officers in the United States Army, Army Reserve and Army National Guard. Technical, scientific and military studies are incorporated into the curriculum with emphasis on applied leadership and problem-solving skills.

As a communication major, you will develop a strong background in communication and get hands-on experience in both print and electronic publishing. The program is dynamic and focused. You'll get started right away, taking core courses like Composition and Rhetoric and Journalism as a freshman. Guided by highly accomplished faculty who care about your success, you'll hone your strengths and begin specializing as early as sophomore year.
