Entry-level information technology management careers (referred to as MIS) are reported by PayScale.com to be $51,600 with opportunity to grow to $88,600. Payscale.com is an online salary information company that helps people obtain accurate real-time information on job market compensation.
The site also reports entry-level salaries for individuals in information systems (referred to as IS) to be $50,900 with opportunity to grow to $86,700. Similar occupations also have attractive entry-level salaries including:
Computer Science: $58,400 - $100,000
Computer Engineering: $62,700 - $105,000
Computer Information Systems: $49,000 - $84,800
