About Us

Adam Kearney
Adam is a senior in aerospace engineering at the Florida Institute of Technology and is the project manager for the MATCH project. His background includes the study of high enthalpy flows, film cooling and fluid flow analysis from his short training program at the von Karman Institute for Fluid Dynamics in Belgium. His interests are in high speed fluid dynamics, aircraft design and project management. Upon his graduation in May 2006, Adam expects to further his education in these fields in graduate school, eventually hoping to apply his knowledge into cutting-edge research and development in the aerospace industry.

Kelly Currin
Kelly is a senior aerospace engineering student at Florida Tech and is the co-leader of the MATCH senior design project. She was a four-year member of the varsity volleyball team at Florida Tech. She has interned with the Optics Laboratory at the Air Force Research Labs at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio for the past two summers. Her interests include propulsion and aircraft design. Following graduation in May 2006, Kelly plans to attend the University of Texas at Austin to further her education and obtain a master’s degree in aerospace engineering. Kelly’s ultimate career goal is to become an astronaut.
