Guillermo Baldi is our fins project leader; He is a senior in Aerospace Engineering originally from Mendoza, Argentina, but considers himself a citizen of the world. G is the Vice President of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics, and member of Student Ambassadors. When he is not studying, he enjoys chatting with friends over coffee, watching movies, swimming, reading, bicycling, and going out to pubs or bars to chill out. Gulliermo would like a master’s degree in Aerospace Structures and eventually a Doctorate. He would like to work as a Structural Engineer for a major aircraft company, but his dream job would be in charge of designing the next generation space station.

Joe Pearce is our electrical project leader; Joseph Pearce is a sophomore double majoring in Computer and Electrical Engineering originally from Ocala, FL. This is his second year on the project as head of the CE and EE for the team. Outside of class Joe is involved in the Brevard Old Red Eyes rugby team, a member of IEEE, and working on an AAS in Business Administration at the local community college. Joseph's dream job is to own and research within an industry leading quantum computing firm.

Each team member has special qualifications that they will use to ensure the success of this project. Each group member will work in all areas, yet the people listed above will be responsible for keeping the team on schedule in their specific areas.

Leigh Honeycutt is our dart project leader; Leigh Honeycutt is an Aerospace Engineering senior originally from Texas. He's currently a member of AIAA, ASME, and the varsity crew team at Florida Tech. Outside of studying he loves to go on long runs, play computer games, racquetball, draw, and go sculling when away from school. In the future he wants to be head engineer of a new space shuttle or manned mission to the moon or even Mars.

Melissa Mikulec is our booster project leader; she is an Aerospace Engineering senior originally from Houston, Texas. She is the former secretary of ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers) and currently the production manager for SERRA senior design. In her free time she loves to line dance, water-ski, star gaze, and enjoys her quiet times reading. She is pursing her private pilot’s license and hopes to fly in January. Her ideal job would be to work with propulsion and engines in an Aerospace Industry or with NASCAR.

Laura Slovey is our Project Director; she is an Aerospace Engineering senior currently from Macomb, Michigan.  She is the former president of Alpha Phi Omega (service organization) and currently the Public Relations Chair for ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers).  She is also an active member of her sorority, Alpha Phi, as well as AIAA (American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics) and Order of Omega (Greek honor society).  Laura spent this past summer working on solid rocket motors for the space shuttle as part of her internship with ATK Thiokol.  When Laura is not hitting the books, she enjoys playing intramural volleyball, doing community service, and of course baking treats for her friends.  Her ideal job would be a Launch Specialist at the Kennedy Space Center.
