Nathan Gould (ngould@fit.edu) - Team Leader/Sensor Specialist

Head Inertial Navigation Systems Engineer Nathan Gould is a junior in the field of electrical engineering at Florida Institute of Technology. He works as an undergraduate research student on different projects relating to photonics, and is an active member of the IEEE society. His areas of interests include guidance systems, optical gyroscopes, and on the side, works with the propulsion’s team helping to design the booster for the rocket. Maria Pinzone (mpinzone@fit.edu) - Telemetry Lead

Maria Pinzone is an Electrical Engineering senior. She transferred to FIT last year from her hometown of Newbury, Ohio. She's always been interested in how things work, especially with electronics. She is a practicing Catholic who loves math, music, softball, choir, reading, organizing, and gaining knowledge to further understand this beautiful world. Future plans include Grad School and finding her niche within the engineering world.

Mathew Martinez (martinem@fit.edu) - Telemetry Engineer

Matthew Martinez, currently a junior at Florida Institute of Technology majoring in Computer Engineering, is from Miami, Florida. He has been an outstanding student and has made the Dean’s list. He is a member of Phi Theta Sigma, Etta Kappa Nu (HKN), and the IEEE. In his spare time he likes to spend time with his family, play video games, watch movies, and read novels, particularly of the science-fiction genre. On occasion he will research newly developed and developing technology, and share his opinion on it with others. He plans to utilize his knowledge of Computer Engineering to help make the dreams of the future actually become a reality.

Nick Mullins (nmullins@fit.edu) - Central Control System Engineer

Nick Mullins is a junior majoring in Electrical Engineering at Florida Tech. He is currently writing a CFD program in Matlab that will predict the rocket's flight profile. His duties on the payload development team are to design the guidance, telemetry, and spin control systems. His duties on the propulsion team include designing the solid grain, and the ignition and separation systems. He is a member of Tau Beta Pi and Phi Eta Sigma. He loves to scuba dive, and he has designed and built a closed-circuit mixed gas rebreather to further his hobby. He also enjoys Shotokan karate and hockey. He hopes to be able to work on projects related to space transportation after graduating in May 2005.
