The Family Learning Program (FLP) is a state and federally funded Sexual Abuse Treatment Program for children ages 3 to 18 and their family members who are recovering from sexual abuse. It is based on the Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy model and offers group, individual and family therapy services to the community. Therapy is provided by student clinicians attending Florida Tech’s Clinical Psychology Doctoral Program with supervision from licensed psychologists trained in the field of sexual abuse treatment.
The Scott Center for Autism Treatment (Florida Tech) provides services to children who are engaging in problematic behavior that put themselves or their caregivers at risk for injury or restrict their ability to maximize their potential. Commonly treated behaviors include disruption, aggression, property destruction, noncompliance and self-injury.
