Synthesize data collected for the Florida Reef Resilience Program from 2005 to 2011, with particular reference to:
a) Coral bleaching ‐ examining incidence of bleaching related to coral species, colony sizes, colony shape, and spatial location of the colonies within the FRRP spatial framework.
b) Coral diseases ‐ black band, dark‐spot syndrome, white‐band, white plague, white spot, Caribbean yellow band disease and patches of necrosis. We will also examine the relationship between diseases and coral species, colony size, colony shape and spatial location.
c) Examine the interaction between coral bleaching and coral diseases.
