Cost of Living on Campus
Safety and Security
Residence Life is committed to providing students with a safe and secure environment where they can grow. There are numerous policies and procedures in place to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our students. It is also important for students to make good decisions and be aware of their surroundings on and off campus. Florida Tech Security is responsible for serving the needs of the Florida Tech campus community and ensuring everyone’s safety.
Property Loss & Insurance
Florida Tech is not liable for loss or damage to a student’s personal property that may be lost in rooms, laundries, or public areas. Students have the responsibility to lock their rooms at all times. Students are also encouraged to acquire a private insurance policy to cover property loss in the case of fire, theft, or other cause.
Residence hall front doors are locked at all times. Students may gain access to their own hall 24 hours a day by using their Florida Tech ID. Students wishing to visit other residence halls should be escorted by a resident of that building.
