The Support Services Mission:

To provide responsive, efficient and effective service in a manner that facilitates and supports the academic, administrative, student, and community services of the University by treating individuals as valued and respected customers.

What is Support Services?

The Support Services group encompasses Business & Retail Operations, and Title IX. It is our goal to facilitate and support the academic, student services and other missions of the University in a safe environment. The behind the scenes effort and commitment of the Support Services group is just one of the reasons that Florida Tech is such a great place to learn, work and grow.

Title IX of the Educational Amendments of 1972 to the 1964 Civil Rights Act states: “No person in the United States shall, on the basis of sex, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subject to discrimination under any educational program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance.”  The administration, faculty, and staff of Florida Tech work together to achieve a safe campus through educational programs and campaigns, policy development and enforcement, promoting healthy social norms, and involving multiple stakeholders in prevention efforts. Safe and positive options are provided for bystanders to take when witnessing potential domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, or stalking.  Title IX officers are committed to providing the appropriate response, advocacy, and adjudication in the event of sexual violence on campus with the ultimate goal of maintaining a safe university community.

Business & Retail Operations is responsible for providing quality and dependable goods and services to benefit various University constituencies including students, staff and faculty, as well as alumni, retirees and campus visitors.  Business & Retail Operations includes:
