Either field in the above search is optional. When a last name and first name are entered, it
will look for entries that match BOTH last and first names, not either. The search looks for
lasts names containing the last name you entered. Searching for "Williams" for a last name will
return "McWilliams", "Williams", and "Williamson". First name searches look for names starting with the first
name you entered. A search for "Bert" will return entries for "Bert" and "Bertha", but not "Robert". If you search
for last name "Williams" and first name "J", you will find "J Williams", "Jay Williams", and "John Williams", but not
"EJ Williams" or "J Doe". When a department is entered, it will only return entries for departments
containing the name you entered. "Computing" will match "Academic Computing" and "Administrative Computing".
