- Complete a paper application or apply online.
- Submit the electronic application with required $40 fee or send the completed, signed, paper application with required $50 fee.
- Official transcripts are required from all colleges you have attended. Unofficial transcripts can be used for admission only. If transcripts from one college or university list course work from a previously attended institution, this is not sufficient. Individual official transcripts are required from each college or university you have attended. Transcripts are only considered official if they are sent directly to the Office of Admission at Florida Tech from the Office of the Registrar at your previous college or university.
- High School transcripts and SAT 1 or ACT test results are only required if you have completed less than 30 semester hours of college course work.
What Grade Point Average (GPA) is required for admission?
While no minimum grade point average is specified, the student's GPA must indicate a readiness for college studies in a chosen academic program.
What prerequisite courses are required for admission?
Course work should be commensurate with the program for which you are applying (i.e., Engineering or Science majors are expected to have strong grades in math (precalculus, at minimum) and science (Chemistry and/or Biology and Physics). Students interested in other fields or changing a field of study should have courses that will demonstrate their ability to be successful in courses required in their anticipated major at Florida Tech.
When is the application deadline?
Florida Tech has a rolling admission policy; we will process your application when all required documents are received and notify you immediately. If you are currently at another college or university, please send an updated transcript at the completion of each semester.
