Remember, your application for admission for full-time undergraduate study at the Melbourne campus is your application for most of the Florida Tech merit scholarships and grants listed below. When an additional form is required, you'll find a link to it.

Merit Scholarships
All applicants will be considered for scholarships and financial aid. Merit based academic scholarship awards are based on high school academic performance and are determined at the time of admission. These scholarships may award up to $20,000 annually, regardless of financial need.
Minimum Guaranteed Scholarships
Graduation from select high schools and participation in certain extracurricular programs guarantees a minimum academic scholarship award offer. If you are eligible for a merit scholarship or more than one of the following awards, you will be offered the highest scholarship only. These scholarships are mutually exclusive; you cannot receive more than one.
NCSSSMST Scholarships
NCSSSMST high school graduates are guaranteed
a minimum of $20,000 per year if they are admitted and enroll full-time. Students must meet the minimum merit scholarship
requirements and have a complete admission application on file by Feb. 1.
FIRST Robotics Scholarships
Current members of an official high school FIRST Robotics team will be awarded a minimum of $13,500 per year if they are admitted and enroll full-time. Students must meet the minimum merit scholarship requirements, submit a letter from their FIRST team adviser verifying participation during the year of application, and have a complete admission application on file by Feb. 1.
Scouting Scholarships - Eagle Scout and Girl Scout Gold Award - Effective Fall 2010 for New Students
Any new first-year student or transfer student who has either earned the rank of Eagle Scout or achieved the Girl Scout Gold Award, and is accepted as a full-time undergraduate at Florida Tech’s Melbourne Campus is guaranteed a minimum academic scholarship of $13,500. Students must meet the minimum merit scholarship requirements and have a complete admission application on file by Feb. 1.
Athletic Scholarships
Florida Tech Athletic Scholarships are awarded by individual coaches through the athletics department. Florida Tech offers scholarships in men's baseball, basketball, golf, cross country, tennis, rowing and soccer and in women's basketball, cross country, golf, softball, soccer, tennis, rowing and volleyball.
Transfer Scholarships
Florida Tech Transfer Scholarship
Up to $8,000 per year if the student’s cumulative GPA is 3.0 or higher and the
student has completed 30 transferable semester hours at one or more other accredited institutions. This scholarship is mutually
exclusive and cannot be combined with the Florida Tech Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship.
Florida Tech Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship
Up to $13,500 per year if the student applies and is admitted to Florida
Tech and was a member of Phi Theta Kappa. Proof of Phi Theta Kappa membership must be submitted at time of application. This
scholarship is mutually exclusive and cannot be combined with the Florida Tech Transfer Scholarship.
Transfers are also eligible for the Scouting Scholarships listed above.
Phillip W. Farmer Scholars Program
The first “full-ride” scholarship ever offered at the university, this program is a full four-year scholarship to be awarded annually to a Florida resident and high school graduate from the top 5% of their class. It covers all tuition and university fees, a room in Harris Village’s Farmer Hall and the regular university meal plan. Qualified applicants will exhibit exceptional academic achievement, have outstanding personal character (as determined through references) and proven leadership qualities. Financial need, while considered, is not a requirement.

Florida Tech Family Grants
Legacy Grant
Sons and daughters of Florida Tech alumni, enrolling in a full-time undergraduate program at Florida Tech, are eligible for a $2,500
grant. This award is renewable for up to four years. This award is given in addition to any merit scholarship earned by the student.
Keep it in the Family Grant
Sisters and brothers of students who are currently enrolled simultaneously as
full-time undergraduates at Florida Tech are eligible for a $2,500 grant. This grant is renewable for up to four years. This grant is
given in addition to any merit scholarship earned by the student. Both students, enrolled at the same time, will receive this
grant.
Florida Tech Alumni Endorsement Grant
Have a graduate of Florida Tech submit the Alumni Endorsement Grant Form on your behalf and you can earn a $1,000 grant, renewable annually for up to four years as long as you are enrolled full-time on the Melbourne campus. The form must be submitted by February 1st. A student may receive only one Alumni Endorsement Grant. Current employees of Florida Tech are not eligible to endorse prospective students.
Army ROTC Room & Board Grant
Army ROTC Scholarship winners also receive a university grant for room and board during the term of their ROTC scholarship at Florida Tech. These scholarships are available to freshmen and transfer students.
Campus Visit Travel Grant - Effective Fall 2011 for New Students
If you visit our campus, apply and ultimately enroll full-time, a $1,000 Visit Grant will be applied to your first-year financial aid package to help offset your travel expenses, and is renewable for four years.
