The majority of UPUB services will remain free of charge to the university community, including creative print and Web design for brochures, fliers, posters, newsletters, advertisements, visual displays, Web content,
T-shirts and other print or online projects.
However, beginning August 7, 2007, the Office of University Publications will be implementing a charge back system on rush jobs* and extensive alterations during the proofing cycle**.

The Office of University Publications has a professional
staff that will design, edit, typeset, proofread and
prepare final artwork, estimate
requests and printer specifications for your project. Our work includes,
but is not limited to:
There is no charge for these services; however, you must
pay for the printing of your project, which can be produced
at the campus copy center
or at an outside vendor, depending on your budget and the complexity
of the job. For jobs printed at the copy center, it is your responsibility
to get costs and timelines scheduled, while we prepare the artwork.
For
jobs printed through an outside vendor, we will prepare
an estimate request on receipt of your project and will
forward it to the Office of Purchasing, who will contact
the prospective vendors. You will receive the estimated
cost prior to completion of the artwork for your job.
Your Procard may be used for such items as stationary,
forms and small brochures/fliers.
