Step 2:
What We Need From You

If you are submitting your project electronically:

  1. Complete the Service Request Form.
Go to Service Request Form at http://www.fit.edu/upub/srvcreq.pdf
You may also e-mail the text (see item 2) and photos (see item 3) for the job to us.

After we receive your form, we will contact you to discuss the project, if necessary.

We are encouraging clients to use the electronic form; however, at this time are still accepting paper forms and disks for input.

If you will not be submitting your project electronically:

Campus mail paper forms and disk to:
                  Office of University Publications
                  TRDA Building, Suite 140
                  attn: Print Services Coordinator

  2. The written text or draft outline for the project should be submitted via e-mail in Mac or IBM MS Word; you do not need to apply special formatting, we will do that in the design software.

Please note: We cannot accept handwritten text (unless there are minor revisions to an existing printed piece). We also do not accept text files for brochures submitted in PowerPoint or Publisher files.

  3. Any photos or artwork for your project. We have photos, digital and film based, for many areas of campus in our archives. We also have extensive digital clip art libraries available.

Image Resolution: 300 dpi for print; 72 dpi for Web projects
All images are subject to copyright protection rules.
