Florida Institute of Technology has developed
the following guidelines to assist you in creating a professional-looking
Web site for your college, school, department or organization.
The goal in creating these guidelines is not to restrict,
but to guide. Following them will enable you to customize
the templates with content that expresses the unique qualities
and strengths of your college, school, department or office,
while maintaining the positive image that Florida Tech hopes
to provide with its Web presence. The templates also provide
a consistent user interface to improve visitors' navigation
across all university Web sites.
Web site design begins with careful planning.
You should decide what the content will be and how you want
to structure it, before you begin the actual design. A well-designed
Web site makes it easy for the viewer to navigate and find
information. Planning ahead can also make updating the site
easier.
If you have any questions about the use
of this template. navigation, or contact information or if
you would like a custom graphic, or assistance creating a
Web page, please contact the Office of University Publications
at (321) 674-8963.
The name, marks and image of Florida Institute of Technology cannot be
used to imply or suggest endorsement of any product or service not
provided by the university. For additional information on the use of
the logo or official seal, please refer to the Florida Institute of
Technology Graphic Identity Manual.
