The
Ralph S. Evinrude Marine Operations Center houses small outboard-powered
craft and medium-sized workboats. These vessels are available to students
and faculty for teaching and research in freshwater tributaries and
the lagoon. In addition, the 60-foot R/V Delphinus is berthed at the
center. With her own captain and crew, she is the focal point of research
in the Indian River Lagoon and coastal areas, as well as teaching.
