Skurla
Hall is home to the School of Aeronautics. It is a modern two-story building
that includes faculty offices, classrooms, laboratories in air traffic
control, advanced systems and computers and a 125-seat auditorium. Florida Institute of Technology is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award associate, baccalaureate, master's, education specialist, and doctoral degrees.The
program is also accredited by the Council of Aviation Accreditation.
The School of Aviation offers FAA-approved flight training through the
commercial pilot certificate and beyond at the nearby Melbourne
International Airport.
