Overview

The WAC was first chartered in the year 2000 to meet the needs of a newly emerging technology known as the World Wide Web here at Florida Tech.

Stated Mission: This committee was formed to recognize the web as a university resource.
First meeting: March 2, 2000

Almost a decade later, in 2009 the committee underwent a major change in both the form and function, and by popular demand -  the WAC is BACK!

May 2009 Agenda is posted to Sharepoint. Our meeting will be held from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Monday, May 4, 2009 in the IT Training Room (First floor of Crawford).

Our second meeting of the 2009 season was held in the IT Training Room on April 2, 1:00 PM.
The agenda has been posted. We will welcome members that were not present at the last meeting, review the working draft of our new committee charter, and finalize some decisons regarding the remaining open seats. We also hope to include some open discussion time on SEO and analytics.

The first WAC meeting of the 2009 season was held on February 24, 2009 at 11AM in the IT Conference Room.
We had some brief introductions to the new group and its mission, and heard some insights from Wes Sumner, the University Director of Communications about larger marketing objectives. Group is tasked with reviewing the charter and providing suggestions for the next meeting agenda items.
