Virtual Lunch & Learn Lecture - Converting Waste to Energy & Sustainable Materials

Date: Thursday, August 19, 2021

Time: 12:00pm - 1:00pm EDT (Convert to your local time zone)
Location: Online via Zoom (you will receive the link when you register)

Join your fellow Florida Tech alumni for a virtual Lunch & Learn Lecture by faculty member Dr. Toufiq Reza

Lecture Description

The organic fraction of municipal solid wastes largely containing food wastes is a huge economic and environmental liability for the planet. In this lecture, upcycling organic fraction of municipal solid wastes into energy and materials will be introduced and challenges of individual applications will be discussed.
