Lecture Description
In this session, Florida Tech alumnus (’05 M.S.) and Master Coach Mike Coe, will guide you as you explore how to effectively manage change and transition. Change is the external event (graduation, marriage, promotion, retirement, etc.) and the transition is the inner personal reorientation that the change demands. As Mike says, "transitions are like stomach aches….we all have them, we don’t talk about them, and most of us don’t ask for help until we’re in pain." In this workshop, you will learn how to make your own metaphorical Pepto Bismol so you can better manage future change and transition with less pain and more ease. This session will include both PowerPoint slides and experiential learning.
You will walk away from this presentation having laughed and learned:
• An exploration of change and transition
• The four stages of transition
• Common transition pitfalls and places people get stuck
• Ways to bring more ease to your transitions and your life
