His research focuses on 19th- and 20th-century America, the American South, Florida history, U.S. military history, the history of the Space Age, and 20th-century Europe. Dr. Taylor was the recipient of the Florida Tech Alumni Association Award in 2009. He is currently a board official in the Selective Service System and President Emeritus of the Florida Historical Society.
Fiona Lukas has a B.A. in English Literature and Drama and trained as an actress before turning her attention to providing tours on the streets of London. Over the last 20 years, she has qualified as a City of London guide, a Westminster Guide, and a London Blue Badge guide – winning awards each time! Since last year, she has gone online and is enjoying the challenges and opportunities of virtual tours. About this, she says:
“It’s a new medium, mixing the best of a physical walking tour with the freedom to explore anywhere. I want to create something memorable, informative, and fun, and most of all, transport you away from your front room (a.k.a. living room).”
