Job Postings

handshakeEmployers are encouraged to use , Florida Tech’s online career management system to post jobs for students and alumni. This service is no charge, and ensures that your open positions are processed more efficiently. Only Florida Tech students and alumni are able to browse vacancies. Our office must approve your company registration before you may begin posting jobs.  

All job postings and positions must comply with our recruiting policies which include:

  • In-home employment opportunities or projects of a personal nature may not posted on Handshake, including babysitting, tutoring, or other household positions.  Individuals may contact the student newspaper, The Crimson or advertise on
  • Positions that require an unpaid training period or that require an up-front purchase of sales kits or presentations will not be approved.
  • Unpaid internships must meet the requirements of the Fair Labor Standards Act.  Non-profit and government organizations will be approved to post unpaid internships. For-profit companies are encouraged to review the U.S. Department of Labor’s Fact Sheet on intern compensation before posting unpaid internships.
