Employers often ask us how they can increase their visibility with students and support Career Management Services' efforts. As a result, we have identified the following opportunities to become more involved on campus:
Participate in the Fall and Spring Career Expos. Hundreds - even thousands - of students from all year levels visit our career expos held each semester!
Schedule an on-campus interview session.
Host an information session (on-campus or virtual) or other fun recruiting event, or set up an information table. The information session can be formal, with a PowerPoint presentation; informal, with networking or other interactive components; or both. Information sessions do not need to be scheduled in conjunction with an interview schedule. Email Renee Couperthwaite if interested.
Provide guest speakers for career workshops, human resource professionals for résumé reviews, or interviewers for mock interviews. Email Kimberly Ryan if interested.
Sponsor student design projects.
Advertise in the Crimson, the student newspaper, or submit an article about your company or organization. Contact the Crimson directly for more information.
Connect with student organizations by sponsoring student events, such as Engineering Week.
Make contact with faculty to set up classroom visits.
Write an article for our blog - FIT For a Job.
Feel free to browse the student organizations on campus to understand our student body, or partner with us to have your organization more visible on campus.
The Career Management Services staff can assist you in setting up these opportunities. Please contact us at 321-674-8102 by phone or contact Dona Gaynor for more information.
